Tired of chowing down on American movies and TV shows during your time in lockdown? Global Indian entertainment company Eros International announced Tuesday that its Eros Now Select service is now available via Apple TV and the App Store.

It brings to Apple users in the U.S. and elsewhere a large catalog of thousands of Bollywood movies, exclusive series, and originals — for a monthly fee of $3.49.

“The launch of Eros Now Select on Apple TV channels reaffirms our global presence and deepens our connection with audiences in the US by bringing them the best of Indian and international content,” said CEO Ali Hussein in a statement.

A press release from the company notes that:

“Audiences in the US share a special, deep bond with India, as local citizens as well as Indian diaspora residing in the country are drawn to Bollywood and Indian content. The U.S. has featured as prominent locations in several Indian movies as well as various musical concerts and events, thus connecting with the local audiences and providing mass appeal.”

Eros Now Select is just the latest streaming service to go live for Apple users. In recent months, we’ve seen the launch of Apple TV+, Disney+ and newcomers like Quibi. All of these are competing for eyeballs at a time when, frankly, most people have more time than ever to watch TV.

It’s unlikely that this service will become a leading streaming provider in the U.S. However, if you’re a fan of Bollywood or Indian-made content, this could be the breath of fresh air you need before diving into your sixth consecutive viewing of Tiger King or Stranger Things.

The Eros Now Select app is available to download from the App Store here. The company’s website has additional details.
