Facebook wants to give you and your boo some space, so it created a chat app for iPhone users in love.
Tuned is the product of Facebook’s New Product Experimentation Team. The engineers designed the new iOS app to give couples the tools to build a “digital scrapbook.” This is not a dating app, but an app for two people who are already dating.
“With Tuned, you can be as mushy, quirky, and silly as you are together in person, even when you’re apart,” the NPE team says in the app’s description. “Creatively express your love, share your mood, exchange music, and build a digital scrapbook of your special moments.”
In addition to the scrapbook-esque feed, the app lets couples connect Spotify accounts to share songs and playlists. Tuned also lets lovers express their moods and share photos, notes, custom stickers, reactions and voice memos.
It’s literal and virtual mush. However, it’s unclear how some guys will respond to “let’s build a digital scrapbook!” The app by design keeps activities on the DL.
Tuned is available to download for free today on the App Store.
