With all the iOS 14 leaks dropping ahead of WWDC 2020 we already have a pretty solid idea which new features will make the cut, but concept designer Stijn van Oosterwijk has a couple dozen other ideas that would make iOS 14 the biggest iPhone update ever.

Oosterwijk’s new iOS 14 concept video is jammed with new features. The video starts with a new incoming call screen and keeps pouring on other goodies. There’s lock screen widgets, a completely new Tools app, a translate app, an AR experience within the Maps app and so much more.

How many new features can you count?

One of the more simple additions in the concept video is the ability to adjust video filming rates in the Camera app along with manual aperture controls. We’ve been begging Apple to add just that for years so we don’t have to use third-party camera apps to get fine-tuned controls.

The tools app is another great idea and builds on the Measure app already included in iOS. It would cram the compass, flashlight, level and measuring tape into one location while also adding a tuner, decibel reader, magnifier and altimeter.

Oosterwijk’s concept proposes adding a Screen sharing option to FaceTime. To make searching more private he wants Apple Search to be added to Safari and is hoping Siri finally can answer questions offline. You can dive into all the details of Oosterwijk’s iOS 14 concept on his Behance page.
