Apple created a special new ad for customers in Japan that highlights the different ways the Mac has been showcased on some of the most popular anime shows in the country.

Cut together with scenes from shows like Mr. Osomatsu, NEW GAME!!, your name., Weathering with You and more, the brilliant ad encourages anime fans to embrace their creativity and create a new generation of anime stories.

You’ve never seen an Apple ad like this:

We have absolutely no idea what’s being said in the ad, but the song in the background is “I am the main character” by singer/songwriter Yoshiho Nakamura “I am the main character” by singer/songwriter Kaho Nakamura.

The Google-translated caption at the end of the ad reads, “Beyond the Mac, new stories are born one after another. A story that is not yet in this world. Come on, you too.”

Throughout the ad you can see different homages to the Apple logo. Some shows just use Apple’s versions while others replace it with a pear or heart. There are also a couple of shots of AirPods and Apple’s old earbuds sprinkled throughout the short 30-second ad.
