Apple TV+ had its sparsest Friday since the service launched, with just two new episodes rolling out for the holidays.
Last week saw the season finales for The Morning Show and For All Mankind. That left just Servant and Truth Be Told to get new episodes this week.
Episode six of Truth Be Told is titled “Not Buried, Planted.” Apple’s preview reads: “A devastated Poppy tries to walk away from the case, but it won’t let her go.”
Meanwhile, episode seven of “Servant” is titled “Haggis.” The preview reads: “Dorothy throws a tense dinner party. Sean entrusts Leanne to help keep a secret.”
New episodes on Apple TV+
Only two new episodes makes this the least eventful week in Apple TV+ so far in terms of new content. It’s different to Thanksgiving, where Apple doubled up the number of new episodes to give people something to watch over the holiday break.
Last week, I wrote that I half-expected Apple to roll out an extra episode of something — such as a festive installment of Oprah’s Book Club. However, it seems that Apple is happy to keep this week quiet, before presumably ramping things up again in 2020.
On the plus side, the fact that many of Apple TV+’s seasons have come to an end means you can now binge watch the entire season. That includes See, The Morning Show, and For All Mankind. Other shows such as Dickinson are also available to watch in full.
Coming in 2020
Apple TV+ currently has a preview for its immigration anthology series Little America. That show will debuted January 17, 2020. It also has a preview for Samuel L. Jackson drama The Banker, which is says is “coming soon.” New seasons of See, The Morning Show, and For All Mankind have already been confirmed.
