The Cult of Mac 2E is essential reading for the Apple fan or tech culture geek wanting a quirky and colorful look at what is arguably the world’s most devoted brand community.
MacRumors says the book is “an enjoyable read which, like the original, treads some different ground compared to the many Apple-related biographies and histories that regularly hit the bookshelves.”

The book, which actually is made to look and open like a MacBook Pro, including a keyboard on the first page, was written by CoM editor Leander Kahney and reporter David Pierini. Published by No Starch Press, it is a follow-up to Kahney’s 2006 book The Cult of Mac and is loaded with photographs and new stories of Apple’s true operating system (its customers!).
Readers will meet fans who’ve built their own Apple museums, marvel at folks with tattoos of Steve Jobs, see some of the most compelling photographs ever made with an iPhone and experience some of the most creative projects done with – or on – Apple devices.
