The actors that will bring Isaac Asimov’s Foundation to Apple TV+ are starting to come together. Five more cast members of this sci-fi epic have been named.

Foundation follows the fall of a galactic empire, and centers on a group of scientists trying to save civilization from chaos.

The two main characters of this much-anticipated TV series were already chosen. Jared Harris will play Hari Seldon, a mathematical genius and head of the Foundation who predicts the fall of the Galactic Empire but creates a way to shorten the millennia of chaos that is sure to follow it. Lee Pace will portray the Emperor of the Galaxy.

Five more actors have been asked to join these two, according to Variety.

Lou Llobell will appear as Gaal, a mathematical genius from a repressed planet. And Leah Harvey will take on the role of Salvor, the warden of a remote outer world.

Laura Birn will be the aide to the Emperor of the Galaxy. Terrence Mann will be the oldest member of the galactic ruling family, while Cassian Bilton will play the youngest member of that family.

Turning Foundation into an Apple TV+ series will be no small task. It will likely be a mix of the robots and starships of Star Wars and the back-stabbing politics of Game of Thrones.

With cast members just now being named, don’t expect to see this series on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV anytime soon. It’s probably a year away, at least

In the mean time, other new shows launched on this streaming video service. The horror series Servant hit the airwaves last week, and the crime drama Truth Be Told debuts on Friday.
