Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul and other stars of Truth Be Told appear in a new featurette that offers glimpses into the crime drama, which debuts next week on Apple TV+.

Watch it now:

A more traditional Truth Be Told trailer offers a look at the upcoming show, which centers on a cold-case investigation. But in this featurette, showrunner Nichelle Tramble Spellman and some of the show’s actors serve up a closer look.

Apple describes Truth Be Told like this:

When new evidence compels podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation, she comes face to face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Her investigation navigates urgent concerns about privacy, media and race.

The series also stars Lizzy Caplan and Elizabeth Perkins. It was written by Spellman, whose credits include The Good Wife and Justified.

Truth Be Told launches on Apple TV+ in 11 days

Truth Be Told will debut this Friday, December 6. The Apple TV+ exclusive will only be available to those who subscribe to Cupertino’s new streaming video service.

M. Night Shyamalan’s creepy drama Servant launches on Apple TV+ a bit earlier. The show, about a couple that deals with their son’s death by replacing their child with a doll, debuts this Thursday. Access to both, as well all the other shows on Apple TV+, costs $4.99 a month. But anyone who bought selected Apple devices this fall can enjoy free one-year subscription. And for everyone else, there’s a one-week free trial.
