Just before the holiday shopping season kicks into full swing Apple has decided to make it harder to see reviews of the products it sells online.

The Ratings and Reviews section of Apple’s online store was recently removed from all product pages with no word on why the change was made.

It appears that Apple removed its reviews on November 17. The company just released its annual holiday gift guide this week so maybe the iPhone-maker wanted nothing but positive vibes heading into Christmas.

Apple has usually been pretty transparent with reviews on its online store. As pointed out by AppleInsider, the company usually kept negative reviews around. In fact, one YouTuber posted a scathing video about the new 16-inch MacBook Pro where he just read negative reviews from Apple’s own site.

Reviews were removed from Apple’s U.S. store along with stores for the U.K., Canada and Australia too. If you’re dying to read reviews on everything from AirPods to MacBooks, the official Apple store on Amazon has plenty of them. We also got a few on Cult of Mac you can read.
