Apple TV+ is starting to stock up on new movies.

Apple has inked its second film deal with indie studio A24, which is already working with the iPhone-maker on Sofia Coppola’s next movie. The two companies are set to produce an adaptation of the critically acclaimed young adult novel The Sky Is Everywhere written by Jandy Nelson.

Josephine Decker has been tapped to direct the film. Jandy Nelson will write the screenplay with Denise Di Novi and Margaret French Isaac set to produce for Di Novi Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Sky is Everywhere centers around the story of a high school girl named Lennie who is coping with the loss of her sister. During her grieving, she falls in love with both her sister’s boyfriend and a new boy in town named Joe. The book has been praised by some critics as one of the best realistic young adult novels about love and loss.

Apple has mostly focused on developing TV series for its original content but has scooped up a few movies ahead of Apple TV+’s launch. The only film that will debut with the service is The Elephant Queen. Apple has The Banker and Hala set to roll out shortly after.

A24 inked a multi-year agreement with Apple at the end of last year. The studio was behind the Oscar-winning film Moonlight, as well as other indie darlings like Ex Machina, Room, The Witch and comedian Jonah Hill’s directorial debut mid90s.
