The fourth beta of macOS Mojave is already here after Apple seeded a new update of the upcoming Mac update to developers this morning.

macOS Mojave is the first of Apple’s big 2018 software updates to get a fourth beta build. The company came out with iOS 12 beta 3 and macOS Mojave beta 3 less than two weeks ago, but some fresh fixes for the Mojave build is already here.

macOS Mojave brings a number of UI changes to the Mac, including a new Dark Mode and Dynamic Wallpapers. It also comes with a new way to install updates.

To install macOS Mojave beta 4, developers first need to download the proper installation file to their Mac from Apple’s Developer Center. Once that’s complete you can install future updates through the Software Update option in the Apple menu bar.

Apple’s release notes for macOS Mojave beta 4 don’t mention any huge changes. If you’re not a registered developer, you can try the second public beta for macOS Mojave.

Mojave’s other new features include a new “Stacks” option. The feature organizes files into neat stacks on the side of the screen. You can create Stacks based on file type, date, or tags.

The Mac App Store has been rebuilt from the ground up too. There’s more emphasis on discovery with a series of new tabs offering curated selections according to what you might want to use them for.

macOS Mojave brings some big security updates too. To stop people from tracking you online, Apple introduced a feature that makes it harder to fingerprint the characteristics of your device so that every Mac looks the same.
