Apple will reward you with a $5 gift card for using Apple Pay at select retailers over the holidays. Your credit can be spent in the App Store or on iTunes. There’s a limit of one card per retailer, and the promotion is only available in the United States.

Apple Pay has become hugely successful since making its debut in 2014 and expanding to additional markets. It’s by far the biggest mobile payments service. But in an effort to attract even more customers over the holidays, Apple is giving away gift cards.

Get $5 to spend on iTunes

You’ll get $5 back for using Apple Pay between December 14 and December 21 at the following retailers:

  • 1-800 Flowers
  • Abercrombie & Fitch
  • Bonobos
  • Cole Haan
  • eBags
  • Express
  • Fanatics
  • Fancy
  • Hayneedle
  • JCPenny
  • Jet
  • Kenneth Cole
  • Kiehl’s
  • Macy’s
  • Reef
  • Stockpile
  • Tumi
  • Warby Parker
  • Wayfair
  • Wish

The minimum amount you need to spend to obtain the gift card varies be retailer, Apple says. You’ll only get one card per retailer, but it seems you can obtain multiple cards if you shop at more than one — so long as you’re in the U.S.

“Offer valid in the U.S. only, while supplies last,” Apple states on the promotion page. “Limit one App Store & iTunes Gift Card per partner. Additional terms and conditions may apply. See the applicable partner website or app for details.”

This isn’t the first time Apple has run a promotion like this in an effort to boost Apple Pay usage. A similar campaign launched last year gave shoppers the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive discounts, bag other gift cards, and more.
