Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world — there are soccer fans everywhere. With all of this popularity comes a ton of potential leagues and tournaments to watch. If you’re a big fan, you’ll be glad to know there are some great ways to watch streaming soccer on Apple TV.

Best Apple TV apps for streaming soccer

Certain Apple TV apps prove incredibly useful for watching soccer matches from all around the world. If 4K video is in fact supported by the fifth-gen Apple TV, which is predicted to land this year, these sports TV apps should deliver an incredibly high-quality picture.

Here’s a full list of the best Apple TV apps for watching soccer.

FOX Sports GO

FOX owns broadcast rights to some of the best soccer leagues in the world and you can watch the matches with the FOX Sports GO app. In the United States, FOX holds rights to Germany’s Bundesliga and the Union of European Football Associations’ Champions and Europa leagues.

These leagues alone will let you watch some of the best players in the world. In order to use FOX Sports GO, you’ll need to sign in with credentials from either your cable or satellite TV provider. You can also use your login from streaming services, like fuboTV or Sling TV, as long as you pay for FOX Sports channels on those platforms.

NBC Sports

The NBC Sports app serves up tons of sporting events to watch live. For soccer, NBC Sports holds rights to air plenty of matches, including all those from the English Premier League, one of the top leagues in the world. You can watch as long as you have a cable, satellite or streaming service login to validate on the app (it works similarly to FOX Sports Go). This app will also become incredibly useful to stream NFL games once the pro football season starts. (NBC owns the broadcast rights for the always-popular Sunday Night Football show.)

beIN Sports Connect

For soccer fans, beIN Sports is one of the most important channels. It broadcasts loads of soccer matches, offering English and Spanish versions. The beIN Sports Connect app will let you watch all these matches on your Apple TV. You can use the app with either a cable or satellite login, or with a login from a streaming service, as long as you already have access to beIN Sports with your subscription.

fuboTV

Long known as one of the top streaming options for soccer fans, a subscription to the fuboTV app lets you watch an incredible amount of soccer matches. A full channel package, including about 50 channels such as TNT, TBS and CNN, costs $35 per month. You’ll also get plenty of channels to stream soccer matches, like beIN Sports (in both English and Spanish). You can also select packages strictly for streaming soccer.

Sling TV

Another popular streaming service, Sling TV, will get you plenty of soccer matches. beIN Sports is one of the top channels you’ll be able to watch on Sling TV. This can be added to either the $20-per-month Sling Orange starting package or the $25-per-month Sling Blue package. Each package offers particular benefits, and streams more than 30 popular cable channels live.

Sling World Sports

Sling World Sports, a Sling TV standalone channel package, could be a great option if you’re not looking to add any other channels. The package only costs $10 per month and includes both beIN Sports and beIN Sports en Español.

MLS Live

Major League Soccer’s official streaming service, MLS Live, will let you watch every single MLS match during the season. You can live stream any game, so long as it is not being broadcast in your local area. There are blackouts, but if you work around them you can watch plenty of soccer. The service costs around $80 per season. (Note: This article has been updated to correct the pricing of the MLS Live service.)

WatchESPN

ESPN also holds broadcast rights to some incredible soccer matches, including some from the UEFA Champions League. The WatchESPN app can be used if you have any subscription that gives you the ability to watch ESPN live. A majority of the streaming services (fuboTV excluded) offer ESPN — and the channel does come with most cable and satellite subscriptions.

The WatchESPN app should be one that most can use, which is great because it can get you live access to incredible sporting events, just like it did during the NBA Playoffs.

Stream soccer on Apple TV all year long

You can clearly watch an endless amount of soccer matches with your Apple TV. These are some of your best options — even using just one or two of these will give you enough to watch to last all year long.
