What’s a computer?
That’s the latest brain buster Apple is asking fans in its latest iPad Pro ad that showcases how the giant tablet can replace a PC thanks to its keyboard, touchscreen and Apple Pencil. The short new ad covers iPad Pro’s multitasking capabilities, too, with shots of Slide Over and picture-in-picture that reimagine what you can do on an iPad.

I don’t man, everything these days can be called a computer, even an iPhone 4S.
My “next Computer” will probably be a iPad Pro.
The ordinary stuff I do I can do on a iPad. Since I gave up taking Photos in Extreme RAW everything else works out fine on an iPad. I can even do NEW things I can’t do today on my iMac.
It’s a good computer. Not a computer for everyone – but a good computer anyway. A Chromebook for example is also not for everyone – so is a desktop PC – and yet they are all good if that type of computer is what you want and need.
Let’s be honest – an iPad Pro will take care of computing needs of probably 80% of the population. For the rest of us ? there are other options.
The iPad has a long way before it replaces a MBP. Apple is doing this to see if it can prop up sales of it’s over priced iPads that are lagging.
The reason I believe iPad sales lag are because it’s such a awesome product that many people don’t feel a need to upgrade regularly. I grab my daughters air2 and immediately notice a huge difference between that and my 9.7 inch pro….. But the air2 is still usable.
