A few years ago, home security systems were a luxury for the rich and famous (or at least the well-off). They could be super-expensive, clunky, and usually had to be installed by a team of security specialists.
But times are changing. As the market becomes flooded with smart home-security systems, they get better and better. A great example: wireless security systems by MyFox.
The company sells home alarms, smart sensors, security cameras and keyfob remotes that work with apps for iOS and Android.
You can mix and match parts, or buy a kit like the MyFox Premium Pack, which comes with four sensors and keyfobs (and costs a rather pricey $549).

I have been using the Myfox solution for quite some time and like it. I wish I had bought it just after they launched bundles in the U.S., offering more keyfobs and sensors for a better price but on the product side the alarm and the camera work as a charm. My wife did not want a camera that is always open and that looks like a camera in our living room so we picked Myfox. Again, after 6 months it just works great and we forget it is here. When we come home the alarm is disarmed without entering a code or pushing a button. Is it perfect? No but it is a good deal, especially as the camera works with the alarm. We also see a number of improvements with their app coming from time to time which is great. To me it is more expensive than many systems but it is also much better so I have no regrets and plan to add cameras to our setup. Hope this helps.
