Here’s one for the “better late than never” category: Almost three years after releasing the Lightning connector for the iPhone 5, Apple has unveiled its brand new official Lightning connector dock for use with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and fifth-generation iPod touch.
Not only can it be used to keep your handset fully-juiced, but you can also connect it powered speakers or a stereo using a separate 3.5-mm cable to enjoy music and podcasts at your leisure.
Accommodating both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch handsets, the dock is wonderfully sleek and minimalist — although you can’t help but worry that it’s going to be a bit fragile.
We’ll reserve a final judgment until we’ve had a chance to use it, of course.
Pick it up on the Online Apple Store for a bargain-ous $39.

I have been using the original box with it’s plastic tray. Cheep easy and done.
Wow, Apple is taking a lot of heat over a dumb dock. Can’t imagine Apple sells many of these things. Interesting they would even bother.
The Apple Sybian.
The photo/graphic of this thing SUCKS. Ever heard of contrast?
