Check out this amazing ‘working’ iPhone in Minecraft

In a game where you can build anything you want, it was only going to be so long before someone constructed an iPhone in Minecraft.

Even with that said, however, the version of Apple’s iconic handset which one player put together is impressive; being not just a block-based reconstruction of the iPhone’s outward appearance — but a slavish recreation of the iPhone UX, complete with iOS apps.

This isn’t the first time something Apple-related has popped up in Minecraft. Last year fanboy Michael Steeber unveiled an incredible recreation of Apple’s 1 Infinite Loop headquarters — giving gamers the chance to explore everything from Jony Ive’s design studio to the avenues, cafes, basketball & volleyball courts, and event the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse across the street.

A 13-minute video showing the astonishing iPhone Minecraft recreation can be watched below. English-speakers should be aware that it’s in German, but once you start watching it’s difficult to stop, even with the language barrier:
