Hit the sweet spot on YouTube with a well-timed video, and you could be rolling in the dough.
Lewis Hilsenteger may have done just that with his iPhone 6 Plus bending video, which has now gathered a jaw-dropping number of hits.
The Ontario-based video blogger has racked up a staggering 36 million views (and climbing!) on his video (posted above), becoming somewhat of a touchstone for the continuing Bendgate saga.
He’s not the only one, however, with folks from around the globe getting tons of traffic (and, we hope, ad revenue) via their gadgety video postings.
Here, then, are a few of the most popular videos that feature Apple’s new products.
Australia-bound
When we reported on iPhoneBuff editor in chief David Rahimi flying all the way from California to Australia just to be the first iPhone 6 buyer, I was personally aghast that he’d be dropping the damn things. His video above has gotten a whopping 8.4 million views; looks like people really like seeing stuff break.
Not even the first look
Here’s a YouTuber that’s gathered a crazy seven million views at his video showing off the iPhone 6 plastic “dummy” model, something he claims in the video that many other tech vloggers had already shown off. Seven. Million. People.
No content? No problem!
YouTuber Hassan Al Hajry just posted the official Apple video explainer video for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and still manages to grab five million views. That’s kind of cheating, but ok.
Test a few more, ok?
Hilsenteger followed up his original iPhone 6 Plus bending video up with one bending the Galaxy Note 3, a large phablet from Samsung. The resulting traffic is currently at 4.2 million views.
Comparisons pay off

This video seems to be a young Chinese man discussing the differences between the iPhone 5s and the newer iPhone 6. Views? Almost three million people have seen this thing. The iPhone 6 is hot, yo.
