You’ve seen Microsoft’s famous Internet Explorer 9 commercial, right? You know, the one with that catchy dub-step song and all the crazy graphics of IE being like superhero fast? They play it on TV all the time and the at movies so you must have seen it by now. It’s not really that realistic though, so World Wide Interweb made an “honest version” of the commercial.
Bottom line: Switch to Mac and use Chrome.

Not very realistic infact ive had no problems with internet explorer, and google chrome is just as fast to me.
Also mac has nothing to do with this, and i shall continue to use both windows and internet explorer.
Hehehehhe Funny! Its been ages since ive used IE. Perhaps ill give it a whirl
I’ve recently switched to IE9. It is way faster than Chrome. Even faster than Chrome on a Mac. No problems at all, it’s actually a lot more enjoyable to use than anything else. I’m done with Chrome and Macs, nothing but problems.
If you’re going to come at this with an anti-Apple slant, you’re going to try harder than that. This must the first time in history that “IE” and “enjoyable to use” have appeared in the same paragraph. As a web developer, I’ve got to give credit where it’s due. IE 9 is a hell of a huge step forward, but it still lags behind the pace of other browsers in regard to HTML5. By no means is it faster than Chrome, though.
Anyway, enjoy your supposedly problem-free experience with Windows. Let us know in a few months how that goes.
Shouldn’t that bottom line have read: Switch to Mac and use Safari ?
Something wrong there :)
Safari with Firefox as a backup is the way to go. Chrome for Mac feels very Windows-y.
I’d prefer this site to comment on Apple related news, rather than trash-talking other companies with a biased view.
Enjoy your horrible CSS support and shitty font rendering too.
The video was incredibly stupid.
No it wasn’t. It was actually very smart. Look at the attention it’s getting from folks that would never touch IE. Which begs the question, are folks dissing based on history or has anyone here that is calling IE9 crap actually used it and knows for fact that it’s garbage. I’m thinking in more cases it’s the former.
Sorry but given that biased and baseless comments and trash talking gets more page hits for less effort than doing any actual ‘journalism’ you won’t ever get it. Cult of Mac went over to the dark hit whoring side ages ago and seems to have zero intentions of ever changing.
Is internet explorer 9 available for Mac? My main browser now is chrome then safari. Haven’t touched firefox in 2 months.
why would you get windows errors while running IE on a mac? what’s so honest about that? and why would the paper clip be in IE?
