Gallery of Uncanny Steve Jobs Lookalikes

Isamu Sanada’s day gig is photography, but his passion is Apple mock-up design.
An amateur designer of fantasy Macintoshes with a website that showcases dozens of his speculative designs for Apple gear, Sanada got his mock-up cred back when he posted an amazingly prescient take on the Titanium G4 PowerBook months before the real deal was released.
Though he’s gotten lots of praise for his designs, Sanada has been quoted regarding his design chops humbly, saying, “Apple’s thought is more splendid than my thought.”
Hit the jump for more Steve Jobs lookalikes and if you find one out and about — or happen to be one yourself — send us a pic or post it on our Facebook wall and we may feature yours in a gallery post down the road.

Richard Annable had a big presentation to do at work. And what do you do if you’re guy of a certain age with a big presentation to make?
“As I threatened,” Annable says on his Flickr page, “I did it in full Steve Jobs attire … blue jeans, black long sleeve top tucked in to my pants and a days growth. I even adopted the hand position and used phrases like “insanely cool” and “very VERY exciting”.”
Pity no one at the presentation got the connection.

At the San Francisco Dyke March in 2008, San Francisco photographer/comic Heather Gold snapped this pic of a guy who looks pretty amazingly like Steve Jobs. Or what Steve might look like if you ran into him ambling around Squaw Valley or Aspen après ski, anyway. Check the talented Ms. Gold out at her site.

Josh Lewis makes a pretty dead-on S.Jobs for Halloween. He also had the perspective to appreciate that “not worrying about losing my job while doing this is one of the benefits of no longer being an Apple employee.” He also said he wished he’d started growing his hair out a couple weeks sooner to “add more realism to the whole thing,” but we think he did just fine.

If you’re a white guy with short, salt n’ pepper hair and can grow some stubble or a beard, you can probably be Steve Jobs at every costume party for the rest of your life. If you wanted to, that is.

I don’t think “uncanny” means what you think it does.

They’re on sale.
Captain Hot Rod Tuque is a great lookalike, though.
