Apple recently launched the iTunes Match beta test, but overwhelming demand caused Apple to shut the program down. Well it looks like Apple’s ramped up the back end so that it can support more beta testers. They’ve re-opened iTunes Match enrollment to more developers in the U.S.
According to a message Apple sent to developers:
iTunes Match stores your music library in iCloud and allows you to enjoy your collection from anywhere, any time, on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or computer. Any of your songs, including music you’ve imported from CDs, that matches with the 18 million songs in the iTunes Store will become available in iCloud and will play back at iTunes Plus quality (256 Kbps DRM-free AAC) — even if your original was of a lower quality.
To get started, download iTunes 10.5 beta 8 from the downloads section of the iCloud beta for Developers website. Once you have updated iTunes, subscribe to iTunes Match by choosing Store > Turn On iTunes Match and clicking “Subscribe for $24.99.”
If you are already subscribed, you must upgrade to iTunes 10.5 beta 8 before you can continue using iTunes Match.
All iCloud libraries will be deleted at the end of this beta. Please backup regularly and do not delete the music you add to iCloud from your computer.
So if you are a developer what are you waiting for? Apple’s ready to take your $25. Please go grab iTunes 10.5 beta 8 and start testing!

I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use BidsFirst.com

I thought the same thing, but I quit iTunes and relaunched and was able to sign up just now (5:30 eastern). Give it a try!
That fixed it! Not sure why… Thank you for the suggestion :-)
