Behold iPhone 4G – It Will Even Make Coffee!

Think you already know all the new iPhone 4G will do?  A tip-o-the-hat to Cult of Mac reader Mario Baluci, who wrote to tell us about this short rendering of the upcoming iPhone (or what it may look like) that he created as a promo for his Make Coffee iPhone app.  Silly, but the video is nicely done.

Perhaps rev2 will control one of the webcam coffee machines still dripping away on the internet…

Wow, he spelled espresso incorrectly throughout the app with “expresso”. Has nothing to do with being express!

Although it looks like he corrected it in this video but not on iTunes.

Hello I’m the Make Coffee designer. The Espresso VS Expresso subject is a hard battle field. Espresso is the correct word (I’m Italian) but expresso is the most used alternative word in the world to call the italian coffee.

In France, Spain, Portugal and Germany they use expresso and in Uk, Us and Canada, both words are used. After discussing with an US expert coffee reviewer we decided with the last update (1.2) to change the button into the one you see in this video, but not all of the promotional pictures showing the menu are already updated. They will soon show the correct “expression” ;)

Thanks a lot and sorry for my english that is sometimes messy :P

    Cheers!

iPhone makes coffee… but will it blend?

I’m german and I gladly inform you that we use Espresso, NOT “expresso”. *shudder*

Only some 70 year old redneck-type of retarded grampa from a rural area may (not necessarily) use the wrong word.

However, it is in no way the official word. Never.

I remember some café in Berlin selling “expresso” but it was then just some kind of “tourist’s sign”. I live in Paris and I can tell you for sure that here they say “expresso” and some google can confirm you all the rest.

We btw changed it and started to use the original word “espresso” so no more misunderstandings! :)

Thanks a lot for your information, I appreciate ;)
