Shoot and share 360° panoramas with Google Photo Sphere for iPhone

Google has launched an official Photo Sphere app for iPhone that allows users to snap 360° panoramas and then publish them on Google Maps. It’s perfect for capturing all of the amazing places you visit, and it lets your friends share your experiences in a way that regular photos just can’t.

You can already take panoramas on your iPhone using the built-in camera apps, but Photo Spheres are much different. They don’t just capture wider images, but full, 360° spheres that let you look left, right, up, and down. It’s like you’re using Google Street View, only you stay in one spot.

Photo Spheres are great for capturing all the beautiful places you visit, whether it’s a beach in France, a mountain in Italy, or a cold, wet field in England. You can then upload them to Google Maps for other people to enjoy, or you can share them with your friends so that they can see where you’ve been.

Photo Sphere is free, and it supports the iPhone 4S and above with iOS 7.0 or later. You can download it from the App Store now by following the link below.
