The iTunes Festival is an annual, month-long music festival and concert series that Apple has thrown since 2007 at the Roundhouse Art Centre in London. Earlier this year, Apple revealed the lineup for the 2013 Festival, but now Cupertino is starting to get the ball rolling on the festivities, updating the Apple TV with a new channel and updating the iTunes Festival iOS app accordingly.

Just like last year, Apple has pushed out a new channel to Apple TV owners which allows users to watch live streams of all the iTunes Festival concerts. These concerts will also be available for a limited time afterwards on-demand, so if you miss one, you still have an opportunity to catch it. To access the new channel, you don’t have to download anything; it will automatically be in the main menu next time you load your Apple TV up.

As for the iTunes Festival App, it has similarly been updated, and offers largely the same features as the Apple TV channel. Artists performing include Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Robin Thicke, and more. You can download the iTunes Festival app for free here.
