Logitech has today announced the launch of its new Keyboard Folio cases for iPad and iPad mini. Built from refined fabrics — and available in a whole host of pretty colors — the Keyboard Folio is designed to provide your beloved tablet with all-round protection as well as a physical keyboard that’ll let you get things done on the go.

The Keyboard Folio for iPad offers full-size keys that’ll feel much like your desktop keyboard, while the Keyboard Folio mini has a more compact keyboard to suit the iPad mini’s smaller display. Logitech promises both offer a comfortable typing experience, but the mini’s keyboard has been slightly modified to maximize the space available.

It does this by combining certain keys. For example, the ‘A’ key is also the caps lock key, while the function keys are combined with the number keys across the top. This allows the letters to remain a decent size so that they’re comfortable to type on. Check out both cases in Logitech’s demonstration video below.

The Keyboard Folios have built-in magnets so that they automatically wake your iPad from sleep when you open them up, and put the device back to sleep again when you close them. The keyboard itself connects via Bluetooth, and has a built-in battery that boasts up to three months of typing between charges.

The Keyboard Folio for iPad is priced at $99.99, while the Keyboard Folio mini is priced at $89.99. Both are available to order now from Logitech’s online store.
