YourTube Updated To Support Jailbroken Devices Running iOS 6 [Jailbreak]

YourTube-iPhone

YourTube, a popular jailbreak tweak that brings new features to the official YouTube app — including video downloading and ad-blocking — has been updated to support jailbroken devices running the latest iOS 6 firmwares. The latest version is available to download from Cydia now, and it’s free to existing YourTube and YourTube HD users.

If you’re not already an existing YourTube user, then the tweak is just $3.99 for the next three days, before it goes back up to its usual price of $4.99. That’s a little more than you’d pay for most jailbreak tweaks, I know, but YourTube is well worth it.

If you’re a frequent YouTube users — and let’s face it, who isn’t? — then YourTube is a must-have. It adds a whole host of handy new features to the already awesome YouTube app for iOS, including the ability to download videos for watching offline.

It even allows you to adjust the video quality before you download, and lets you sync your downloaded files via iTunes. You even have the option to send those files to the Music and Video apps built into iOS so that they can live happily with all your other media.

And that’s not all. YourTube also blocks advertisements, enables AirPlay so that you can stream YouTube videos to your Apple TV, and lots more. As YouTube tweaks go, YourTube is by far the best.

See, I told you it was worth $5.
