PowerSkin has used CES 2013 to introduce its next generation of battery cases for the iPhone 5. There are three in total, all of which are equipped with Lightning connectors and designed to provide your smartphone with portable power while you’re on the go, ensuring you never run out of battery life before you get home to your charger. Meet the PowerSkin Pro, the PowerSkin Hybrid, and the PowerSkin Battery Case below.
The PowerSkin Pro lineup (pictured top) features a double-injection thermoplastic polyurethane bezel, with a soft-touch plastic shell. Not only does it provide your iPhone 5 with ample power, but it also ensures that it won’t be damaged when it’s dropped. What’s more, its PowerSkin’s slimmest case yet.
The PowerSkin Pro is available in five colors — white, black, titanium, red, and pink — and packs a 2,000 mAh internal battery. It’s got an LED indicator that’ll tell you how much power is stored up inside.
PowerSkin Hybrid Battery Charger
The PoweSkin Hybrid is aimed at those who already have an iPhone 5 case that they’re happy with, and don’t want to keep removing it just to charge their handset on the go. Rather than fitting your iPhone inside it, then, you simply leave it in its case and slide it down onto the charging port. The Hybrid’s suction cups will then keep your device in place, and you can switch between Lightning connector, traditional 30-pin connector, and micro USB.
Like the PowerSkin Pro, the Hybrid boasts a 2,000 mAh internal battery, which promises to extend your iPhone’s battery by 50%-70%. It’ll be available in black, white, titanium, red, and pink.
PowerSkin Battery Case
Last but by no means least, we come to the PowerSkin Battery Case for iPhone 5. Featuring an ultra-thin “angular shape” that’s designed to fit comfortably in your palm, the Battery Case will extend your handset’s talk time by up to 6 hours, while Wi-Fi use can be extended by up to 8 hours.
The Battery Case offers a 1,500 mAh internal battery, a power switch, and an LED battery level indicator.
All of these products are set to launch sometime this PowerSkin says, but we don’t have anything more specific. You can find out more at PowerSkin’s website by hitting the source link below.
