Logitech’s Ultrathin Keyboard Cover Is Your iPad’s Perfect Partner

Isn't that the prettiest iPad keyboard you've ever seen?

Logitech already makes one of the best keyboard cases available for the iPad, but its latest solution looks even more incredible. The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is, as its name suggests, is a super thin wireless keyboard that takes advantage of your iPad’s Smart Cover magnets to double up as protective aluminum cover. It’s the perfect partner for your iPad.

It’s aluminum shell has been designed to compliment your device, and thanks to its built-in magnets, Logitech claims that it “fits your tablet so seamlessly that you can hardly tell them apart.” Like Logitech’s other keyboard solutions, this one feature a full QWERTY keyboard with a number of function keys for the shortcuts you use most often, including copy & paste, undo, and more.

Logitech promises that a full charge will provide you with a whopping six months of battery life, while the instant on/off feature ensures that none of its energy is wasted while it’s not in use. When you open it up, the keyboard automatically connects to your device, so all you have to do is detach it and slot your iPad into its built-in stand.

The Ultrathin Keyboard Cover works in much the same way as Logitech’s last keyboard solution, but those improvements mean it’s even better.

“The device is now available for $100 in the U.S. and throughout Europe.” wrong. Says on the webiste, that it is only available for pre-order.

I really thought that the whole idea behind the iPad was no keyboard – want a keyboard get an Air Book. I wish someone would come up with a really good handwriting recognition software to use with a stylus and pen. That would help replace all the notebooks I carry and make the iPad the most valuable device.

I really hate nitpicking about stuff like this, but I expect better of cultofmac.com. Shouldn’t that be “complement” and not “compliment”?
