It never ceases to amaze me about what people will do to get your attention so today’s video tidbit shouldn’t be much of a surprise. After all we’ve seen MacBooks, iPhones and iPads go through all kinds of hell on the wrong end of a gun and even a PT Cruiser.
So it shouldn’t surprise you that someone has taken the iPhone 4S and shot it with a .50 caliber incendiary round. He even goes so far as to ask Siri if it is bullet proof. See how Siri replied and how well the iPhone 4S did or not after the break.

What a terrible waste. Especially when you consider that the iPhone 4S is going for more than $1,000 on eBay now.

Cool…now lets see how bulletproof the Driod RAZR is
He just killed Siri……bastard
JackassÂ
If this guy wanted to “impress” he should have “attempted” the kill shot at a distance of say… a mile. I’m just sayin’
Try this
RATEDRR on his t-shirt
More like
RRETARD
I find it amazing that these people have this amount of money to waste. Buying an expensive, brand new phone and shooting it with a 50 cal round benefits no one that I can imagine, so it seems a pointless activity, unless you just want to show your distain for Apple products.
I liked the extreme slow motion shots. But I’d have been just as impressed if he were shooting a brick.
I’m just thankful that we’re all different and that there aren’t as many of the gun toting’ nut jobs around as there are sane people.
I just don’t understand wasting $700 on this. Just don’t get it.
These people must be rich to drop it, blend it, microwave it, drown it, smack it on a curb, toss it out an airplane, and shoot it.

I refuse to watch it. By doing so – you are giving home everything he wants. Recognition via YouTube views.
What a bad shot…he missed the Apple logo
it seems easier for anyone to get hold of all kinds of guns than to get a iPhone4s. with a gun like that I’d be climbing the highest clock tower in town.
Not necessarily rich, just making more in ad revenue than they spend on a new unit.
these sons of bitches are why my phone hasnt gotten here yet
“A fool and their money are soon parted…”
I don’t think that this phone was shot with a real barrett 50 cal. A real one will turn an iPad into sand.
Personally, I thought the video was a bit silly, but that’s true with almost any YouTube video these days. Am I mad because this guy shot up his iPhone? No, because he’s only wasting his money by doing it. Am I mad because he’s toting a massively large assault weapon? No, because he’s doing this “stunt” in a desolated area and he probably has some military-based training in using these types of weapons. Does this video make me want to rush out and buy an iPhone? No, because I have absolutely no use for a smartphone – I am more than happy with my 3-year old Feature Phone.
How do we know that is actual working iPhone 4S he shot up and not a dummy unit??
Some parts of the country just can’t seem to progress beyond Deliverance-style redneckery.
If you look closely, there are actually small collections of buildings down below and past his backstop. Which appears to be a pile of sand. Jesus…
I’m not sure what video you actually watched, yet I just rewatched this particular video several times. First, there are no building whatsoever in this video… only large rocks that are far in the distance of the shooter and, second, the video clearly shows that the shooter is in a mountainous terrain (while he is standing on a hilltop that is mostly dirt and rock, there are definitely mountains shown in the distance).
Finally, your “Jesus…” remark is completely out of line.
In fact the guy is a GREAT shot. That rifle is heavy, check out the slow motion of the hand held shot, really steady.
