Two unauthorized Apple stores in Flushing, Queens have agreed to give all of their Apple-related merchandise back to the mothership.

Both stores say they are willing to hand over everything they have in stock with the word “Apple” or any of the Cupertino company’s trademarks – but still maintain they have not violated any Apple trademarks.

If U.S. District Court Judge Kiyo Matsumoto agrees, they have five days to give Apple cases, headsets and other accessories for Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod.

Although the fake stores made news hot on the heels of similar cloned stores in China, court documents obtained by Reuters say that Apple had private investigators go undercover to  buy “hundreds of dollars’ worth of the alleged fakes from both stores multiple times over several weeks earlier this year.”

Apple Story has also agreed to change its name as part of the settlement and remove the jumbo faux iPhone displays from the store window.
