Apple has added a small but notable option to the iTunes Store. You can now choose to download movies and TV shows later. When you make a purchase, a new dialog box asks if you want to download the media now, or store it in your purchases list.
While the feature itself isn’t anything new—you’ve been able to download previously purchased items for awhile—the option to postpone a download until later is something Apple just added.
Apple is gearing up to send its much-anticipated “iTV” into mass production during the second half of this year, according to sources in the Cupertino company’s supply chain, who have been speaking to DigiTimes. The set will reportedly boast a 4K “Ultra HD” display with a 3840×2160 resolution, and it’ll be controlled by voice and motion.
If you’re a Hulu Plus subscriber that prefers to consume your favorite shows on Apple’s diminutive set-top box, great news: Hulu has just announced a new Hulu Plus experience that they say they have completely redesigned from the ground up.
As the company is known to do during high profile TV events, Apple aired a new ad during tonight’s Academy Awards. The ad was appropriately themed for filmmakers. Various iPad apps were shown off with the taglines “lights,” “camera,” and “action.”
This ad is very similar to the two iPad TV spots Apple aired last week, “Alive” and “Together.”

Apple has posted two new iPad ads to its official YouTube channel that highlight the device’s expansive app catalog. Called “Alive” and “Together,” the videos use the iPad and the iPad mini to showcase some of the 300,000 apps available through the App Store, including iBooks, GarageBand, iPhoto, FaceTime, TED, and more.

You probably haven’t heard of a German company called Loewe. The high-end TV maker hasn’t done so well at selling ultra-expensive HDTVs as of late, and its peripheral business isn’t doing so hot either.
