Today is the day! Apple’s “Far Out” product launch event kicks off in just a few hours. The iPhone 14 series, three new Apple Watch models and more are all expected.
Just like past such events, this year’s will be streaming online, so you’ll be able to watch it in its entirety as it all unfolds. Here’s how.

Apple’s online store went down Wednesday morning, a few hours ahead of the iPhone 14 event. The company typically makes its store inaccessible a few hours before any event or new hardware launch.
Besides the iPhone 14 series, Apple is expected to announce three new Apple Watch models and the AirPods Pro 2.

Brazil’s Justice Ministry has ordered Apple to stop selling iPhones without a power adapter in the box in the country. Additionally, it fined the company R$ 12.275 million (US$2.35 million).
The sales ban extends to all iPhones available in the country, including iPhone 12 and newer models.

Apple TV+ hit dark comedy Bad Sisters takes us through Becka’s motive for a murder this week. In the devilishly good series about the murder of a selfish bastard, we flash back to witness the fourth sister’s experience with bad brother-in-law John Paul — and the dispiriting effect it had on all of Garveys.
Meanwhile, in the present, Becka deals with her complicated romantic entanglement with the man trying to bring her and her sisters down. Elsewhere, Eva gets serious with Gabriel, Ursula runs out of options, and JP finds a new target in a truly stellar episode.
Samsung’s latest ad takes a dig at Apple for the lack of innovation reportedly coming in this year’s iPhones. Titled “Buckle Up,” and coming just days before Apple’s iPhone 14 event on September 7, the ad focuses on some key Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 4 features.

Those who just can’t wait until the September 7 Apple event can tide themselves over with a concept video of one of the hottest products expected to be on the agenda. The iPhone 14 Plus will allegedly have the same size screen as the Pro Max, but at a much lower price.

Is your iPhone stuck in a boot loop? Dr.Fone can help. Photo: Wondershare
This iOS system repair post is presented by Wondershare, maker of Dr.Fone.
Apple devices like iPhones have great reputations for reliability, but nothing’s perfect. And if you find your iPhone stuck on the Apple logo while booting up — often called a “boot loop” — what to do about it can be a real head-scratcher.
Fortunately, there is software designed to help fix that and other problems. One such option is Dr.Fone from Wondershare.
People love to examine Apple’s event invites looking for hints of what will be unveiled. The starry invitation to the September 7 Far Out event that went out Wednesday might drop a clue to one or more long-rumored features finally coming to the iPhone 14.
And, of course, we’ve seen some deliberately silly suggestions for what the image and theme are hinting at.
Or the Apple logo made out of stars could be simply a cool-looking image. (There are new wallpapers for those who think so.)
The date's no surprise, but we weren't so sure about the "in person" part. Image: Apple
Apple sent out invitations Wednesday to a “far out” event scheduled for September 7. There’s nothing in the invite to indicate what’s on the agenda, but this will almost certainly be the debut of the iPhone 14 lineup and Apple Watch Series 8.
Unlike such events for the past couple of years, members of the tech press are being invited to attend in person.
