I took the LA Besace bag with me to Macworld and boy am I glad I did!
This bag is an absolute pleasure to use. Its semicircular front opening is a superb design that makes everything highly visable and accessible. No more wasted time digging around for stuff in bags!

The LA Besace bag retails for $72.89 and comes in black or grey with a range of different brightly-colored linings. I tested the 15 Lime Drop, which is colored a cool shade of gray with a bright-green lining.
Despite the fluorescent interior, the LA Besace bag is plain on the outside and doesn’t have a single logo. It is way too sophisticated and I appreciate that.
Built like a shell, it curves with heavy padding on the bottom. It has more padding than a Victoria Secret bra.
I would not stress (too much) if I accidently dropped the bag. Made from 1682D nylon fabric, it could easily take a beating like a champ. Coffee spill? Not a problem, simply wipe it off. The hi-grade shoulder strap is adjustable and padded to bear the brunt of a heavy load.
Design-wise, the LA Besace bag reminds me of a small carry-on with a pair of zippers on either end.
The front zippers are a much-appreciated feature and easy to use. It’s not a secret that I loathe Velcro. Instead of opening on top, like most messenger bags, the LA Besace bag opens low on the front — almost to the bottom of the bag.
With three internal pockets and one zippered mesh pocket, everything has a place. One paddded pocket will store your 15″ MacBook Pro and the second will hold plenty of magazines or books.
The third pocket has organizers to hold pens, cards or a battery charger. The possibilities are endless. Oh, and don’t forget the two pockets on the outside. Easy access for your phone and wallet. Or throw in a water bottle and umbrella. Whatever you need to bring with you will fit.
