Universal WWDC 2011 App Hits The App Store

By

Just like last year, Apple’s kicking off WWDC a little earlier than its June 6th start date with an official WWDC 2011 app, which is now available for download on the App Store.

A universal app this time around, the WWDC app allows you to check out the conference’s schedule, stay abreast of conference news, view floor diagrams of the Moscone Center, create your own schedule of labs, sessions and other events.

That’s not all. If you’re the holder of a WWDC 2011 ticket, you can now grab the show schedule which has just been posted online.

    WWDC app is busted?

  2. ZappCatt says:

As stated in the original story, the App is also restricted to WWDC ticket holders, just like the schedule…so us schmucks can’t get it :-(

It happens if you attempt to download it straight from the iOS App Stores too, it just disappears after you put your password in. I’m guessing it can only be downloaded onto registered devices, so that only WWDC attendees can get it or something?
