You can now touch the Holy Land with your iPad and send prayers there with a new app called Terra Sancta. It’s the latest offering from the most wired priest in the world, Father Paolo Padrini.
Padrini, who launched the first prayer app approved by the Vatican called iBreviary, teamed up with the Franciscan friars at the Custody of the Holy Land and app makers Netguru.
Through the Terra Sancta (“Holy Land”) app users can light a virtual candle for the Holy Land by sending prayers and messages directly to the custody.
You can also get exclusive news updated daily, watch videos from the Franciscan Media Center and browse what is being hailed as the largest collection of photographs on the Holy Land in high definition.
It’s currently available free on iTunes in English, Spanish, French and Italian. Hebrew and Arabic versions are in development.

“Touching the holy land” sounds kind of pervy to me.
Now that you say it, it kinda does. Not my intention, though.
Considering OBAM-BAM threw Israel under the bus, Israel needs it.
