At the Mix 08 conference in Las Vegas, Microsoft CEO and noted iPhone fan Steve Ballmer reprised two of his greatest hits in a panel with Apple Evangelist Guy Kawasaki. First Ballmer suggested Apple was trying to get too big of a cut from iPhone application sales (30 percent is fine, in my opinion; exposure on iTunes is worth the royalty). Second, Ballmer did something truly sublime: he actually responded to a “fan’s” request that he do the “Developers, Developers, Developers” chant. And then, HE DID. It’s awesome. Well, bombastic buffoon Ballmer should know. He was right that the iPhone would be a dud.
Wait, he was wrong about that and sooooo many other things. Maybe he should get back to flailing away like crazy with Yahoo and other stupid ideas in hopes that investors and users won’t realize he doesn’t have a clue what to do to make Microsoft relevant again.

Delightful! An utter acknowledgement of the brilliance of the SDK and the iPhone is to get such vehement whining from the M$ folks.
In other news, the Zune continues to be a runaway success…
Do you expect him to say what?
C’mon.
screw it! Apple should Just jailbreak every iPhone
Standard rule applies – If Ballmer objects, Apple must be doing something right
