Not every combination device is as successful as the toaster oven. No one wants a steak knife that’s also a toothbrush. But Smartish cleverly merged three iPhone accessories into one that seems worthy of consideration.
The Wallflower uses Apple’s MagSafe system, so it clings magnetically to most recent Apple handsets. Flip out a finger loop for a secure hold on the iPhone. Flip out a larger ring to make a kickstand so the handset is ready to show video or make a FaceTime call.
Both of those are fairly common functions — what sets the Smartish Wallflower apart is that it’s also a silicone cup suction mount. It sticks securely to most flat surfaces for up to an hour. When not in use, the suction cups can be turned inward again to keep the phone from sticking to everything.
