Edifier introduced a new lineup of speakers at CES 2026 designed specifically for users who need seamless audio across multiple devices and environments, the China-based audio manufacturer said Tuesday.
The collection addresses a growing need among consumers who work, stream, game, and entertain from the same space, often switching between desktop computers, TVs, gaming consoles and mobile devices throughout the day, the company said.
New Edifier speakers at CES bring versatile audio to modern multi-device setups
Edifier is known for affordable, high-quality speaker systems. This year, its presentation theme at CES is “Cross-Scenario Audio Solutions for Modern Home Entertainment,” highlighting new products designed to work seamlessly across desktops, living rooms and more.
“Our key launch is the M90 active speaker, Edifier’s first compact active speaker with HDMI eARC, designed to bridge desktop and TV-based setups,” a representative said.

Edifier said the M90 extends beyond traditional desktop audio. The compact system is designed to serve as a central audio hub for users who connect multiple devices to a single speaker setup, eliminating the need for separate audio solutions for different scenarios.
The M90 features extensive connectivity options that Apple users might find particularly useful. The system includes USB-C input for direct connection to MacBooks and other computers, HDMI eARC for TVs and Apple TV devices, optical input for older equipment, traditional analog inputs, and Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC support for wireless streaming from iPhones and iPads.
This versatility means users can connect their MacBook for work during the day, switch to Apple TV for evening streaming and transition to iPhone audio via Bluetooth — all without reconnecting cables or changing speaker systems. An omnidirectional remote control allows quick source switching from anywhere in the room. And when you connect via HDMI eARC with CEC enabled, you can control the system through an Apple TV remote.
Technical specifications for demanding users
Despite its compact dimensions of 133mm wide by 212mm high by 225mm deep per speaker, the M90 delivers 100W RMS total output through a two-way design featuring 4-inch long-throw aluminum diaphragm mid-bass drivers and 1-inch silk dome tweeters. The system supports end-to-end 24-bit/96kHz digital signal processing and has earned both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.
The speakers use bi-amped Class-D amplification with active crossover and dynamic range control, technologies typically found in more expensive studio monitors. A SUB OUT port allows users to add an external subwoofer for enhanced bass performance when desired.
And for users who appreciate customization, the Edifier ConneX mobile app provides access to a 9-band equalizer, three preset sound effects and the ability to create personalized audio profiles. The app also handles source switching, playback control and system settings.
Addressing RGB fatigue

Edifier’s new QR Series speakers, including the QR65 and QR30 models, takes a different approach to the RGB lighting trend that has dominated gaming setups, the company said.
Rather than aggressive multicolor displays, these speakers use an “Infinity Mirror” design to create subtle ambient lighting that adds visual depth without distraction. It’s a design philosophy that may appeal to Apple users accustomed to more restrained aesthetics.
Expanding the professional lineup
The company also introduced new near-field monitors for home studios. The MR3 and MR5 models feature DSP processing, room compensation, and wide off-axis response, with both models earning Japan’s VGP 2025 Design Award. The larger XR6 Near-Middle Field monitor includes auto-calibration software that analyzes room acoustics and optimizes performance automatically.
Edifier displays products at the Las Vegas Convention Center through January 9 at booth #19040 in Central Hall.
