From the Urban Dictionary:

1. iPerbole

The hype surrounding any product Apple unveils.

Claims that the iPhone will change the world are all part of the iPerbole surrounding the cultish company.

Thanks for props on the word. I appreciate it. Now, can anyone convince Jobs Inc. to give me a free iPhone since I coined “iPerbole.” And, just so it is known, I am an avid Apple fan. I did not come up with that phrase out of hate. It’s my affectionate way to describe my own technolust (another Urban Dictonary neologism.)
