Want the new iPad or MacBook for Christmas? You’re not alone. Big box store Best Buy found the iPad the most desired tech gift this holiday season, according to a survey of 2,000 people.

The MacBook came in third behind the Bose QuietComfort noise cancelling headphones. Of the 15 tech items listed, the Apple Watch ranked 12th.

The Best Buy survey falls in line with research by the Consumer Electronics Association, which found 65 percent of the people it surveyed plan on purchasing consumer electronics this season. Spending on consumer electronics this season is projected to top $34 billion.

In publishing its survey, Best Buy did not indicate which model of iPad was most desired. Nearly 20 percent surveyed said they will gift an iPad to themselves.

Best Buy’s survey questions focused on both giving and receiving of tech gifts. Its study also found millennials (age 18-34) put electronics above all other gift categories. It also found men were three times more likely to want a gadget and twice as likely to give tech gifts.

The survey also showed men saw tech gifts as “personal,” where women viewed them as “useful.”

The other items in the group of 15 are: Samsung 48” Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, fourth; Sharp 43” Smart HDTV with Roku, fifth; Microsoft Surface, sixth; Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II, seventh; Fitbit Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker, eighth; Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, ninth; Dyson V6 Absolute Bagless Cordless Vacuum, 10th; Vizio 43: Smart 4K Ultra HD TV, 11th; SONOS PLAY: 1 wireless speaker, 13th; iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaner robot; 14th; and the GoPro HERO4 Action Camera, 15th.
