Thanks to the strange demise of Flappy Bird the App Store and Google Play are rampant with flappy knock-offs, but after a period of silence game developer Dong Nguyen confirmed that his life destroying game is making a comeback, but you’ll have to wait a while.
Early this month Dong told Rolling Stone he was considering bringing the game back, but he confirmed to a fan on Twitter this morning that he definitely plans to return the game to the top of the charts:

Flappy Birds isn’t the only thing Dong’s got in the works though. The dev says he’s working on Kitty Jetpack, a vertical flying game that will be released soon. He also has some HTML 5 games on his website that can be played on your smartphone like Smashing Kitty, Droplet Suffle and Ninja Assault.
