Having watched Mark Malkoff’s hilarious video earlier this week, we now know it’s possible to have a pizza delivered to your local Apple store, take your pet goat to check out the latest Mac minis, and get your iPhone repaired while you’re dressed as Darth Vadar. But will a real Apple store help you troubleshoot your knockoff MacBook Air?
This is one in China did!
According to MIC Gadget, one “Chinese cheapo” booked a Genius Bar appointment at the Pudong Apple store in Shanghai having suffered problems with his fake MacBook Air. Luckily for him, Apple’s generous Geniuses agreed to help:
The Genius Bar offers help and support for Apple products, but what if you have a fake Apple product and you terribly need help from an Apple Genius to fix your problems? Well, a Chinese cheapo did it and the Apple Genius really helped him.
As you can see from the photograph above, the staff in this particular Apple store clearly found that white plastic MacBook Air rather laughable. However, I’m not sure Steve would agree.
