Three-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026, Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation said Sunday. The game will air on NBC, bringing the Puerto Rican superstar to one of the world’s biggest entertainment stages.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

The announcement caps off an exceptional year for the 31-year-old artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. His 2025 chart-topping album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos solidified his position as one of the world’s most streamed artists, while his historic residency No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot drew more than half a million fans across 30 sold-out nights.
Bad Bunny, named Apple Music 2022 Artist of the Year, also leads all nominees at this year’s Latin Grammys with 12 nominations, dethroning producer and songwriter Édgar Barrera. Throughout his career, he has won three Grammys and 12 Latin Grammys while becoming a global ambassador for Latin music.

“The Halftime Show is the ultimate celebration of music and culture, and few artists embody that intersection more perfectly and authentically than Bad Bunny,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Music, Sports and Beats. “At Apple Music, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Bad Bunny over the years and watching his meteoric rise into one of the most influential artists of our time has been truly incredible.”
Roc Nation founder Jay-Z praised the artist’s impact, noting that what Bad Bunny “has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring.”
Not his first Super Bowl appearance
This marks Bad Bunny’s second Super Bowl appearance. He previously joined Jennifer Lopez and Shakira during their Super Bowl LIV halftime show in Miami in 2020. Shakira incorporated his Cardi B collaboration “I Like It” along with a mashup of her single “Chantaje” with his “Callaíta” remix.
His 2026 performance follows Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX show. It became the most-watched halftime show performance of all time with 133.5 million viewers, surpassing Michael Jackson’s 1993 record.
DPS helms the Super Bowl production. Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins serve as executive producers. Hamish Hamilton will direct.
