Apple has been sued by THX, the company founded by Star Wars producer George Lucas, in a patent case filed in a federal court in Northern California. The case was part of a list of new filings in the court clerk’s office, Bloomberg reports.

No further details about the case, including a copy of the complaint, are available at this point, and Steve Dowling, a spokesman for Apple, hasn’t responded to a request for comment. Jen Ralls, a spokeswoman for THX, was also unavailable for comment.

THX creates standards for theaters and audio systems, and back in January, the company launched a free iOS app that helps users create their own home theater and make adjustments to improve their audio and video experience. Called THX Tune-Up, the app connects to your TV and displays images to help you tune aspect ratio, brightness, color, and contrast.
