The App Store extends its reach across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

With the incredible success of the App Store, sometimes it’s easy to forgot that there are still many, many countries the world over that don’t have access to it yet. That number has been reduced today, however, as Apple brings its mobile marketplace to another 32 countries, bringing the total number of countries with access to the App Store to 155.

Tim Cook had promised during his WWDC keynote earlier this month that the App Store would open its doors to another 32 countries, and today the rollout is complete. The majority of new countries are situated in Africa and Asia, but there are two in Europe, including Albania and Ukraine.

The full list includes: Albania, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Fiji, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Federated States of Micronesia, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Palau, Papua New Guinea, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe.

Not only is this great news for Apple consumers in those countries, but it’s also good for developers, who now have an additional 32 countries in which to sell their apps. Thanks to licensing issues, however, not every single app will be available in these countries from day one.
