Today the Chronic Dev Team released a new version of Absinthe, the popular tool used to jailbreak iPhones, iPads, and iPods. In this video, I’ll show how to jailbreak your device running iOS 5.1.1 with Absinthe.
For an in depth guide about backing up your SHSH blobs and more, check out our guide here.

Has anyone else noticed photobooth is just a white icon on iPad 2 32gb wifi?
Jailbreak works oke, but apps won’t install on my iPad2. Only the ones I’ve got from the iTunes store. So what did the jaibreake do?
Everything worked great on my ipad 2. I was even able to restore all my jail broken apps from iTunes
Just “respring” your device when this happens. It’s pretty common. Cheers.
You need to update to the latest stock firmware in iTunes, THEN jailbreak. It sounds as if you were running a jailbreak on your device (possibly tethered) and tried to jailbreak over the top of it.
It sounds like you are installing cracked ipa files….if so you need to install Appsync for 5.1X through the hackul0us repo, but piracy is kinda lame.
what program do you use to film it on the Mac?
