iOS 4.3 is jailbreakable, but the iPad 2 isn’t… yet. The new A5 SoC presents a new and unique challenge for jailbreakers like the Dev Team, but if history is any guide, they’ll have a working jailbreak sooner or later, and quite possibly sooner rather than later, if a new tweet by Dev Team member p0sixninja is anything to go by.
Here’s hoping we’ll see an iPad 2 jailbreak in a few weeks: I’d like to cram a few more icons in my dock.

I don’t know why you posted this… An iPad 2 jailbreak has already been confirmed and demoed by comex and chpwn.
Plus, p0sixninja and ih8sn0w aren’t even apart of the iPhone Dev Team.
Ugh… This is the problem with Engadget. They make posts without knowing what’s really going on. They just feed off of what some other website says. I don’t want to see CoM turning into them.
Seriously though, I agree with Brian! Dude get up to date before u post stupid shit like this. The jailbreak is coming soon. They already figured out how to do it. All they have to do is package all contents into a jailbreak so everyone can do it easily! O and cOmeX was the one who Jailbroke

Jailbreak is confirmed and announced to be released in the next couple days/weeks according to comex.
What p0sixninja referred to was the unlocking process to use other carriers besides At&T and Verizon.
Never the less, the author should have researched before posting something like this on CoM.
