GameSir X2 Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller
The mobile controller is somewhat like an Xbox controller that’s been split down the middle to surround the phone. It has left and right joysticks and ABXY buttons. And grips to make holding the device easier.
Because it uses Bluetooth, this version of the GameSir X2 is compatible with a wide variety of devices. For iPhone users, it works on Apple Arcade and supports MFi games. It can be used with Google Stadia and other cloud-gaming services.
The clip-on controller fits onto phones up to 6.8 inches (173mm) long. Inside, there’s a 500 mAh rechargeable battery along with a USB-C port for juicing it back up.

GameSir F7 Claw Tablet Game Controller
iPad or Android tablet gamers can look instead to the GameSir F7 Claw. This attaches to either side of the device to add buttons and handles.
The capacitive screen is still used for most controls, but GameSir’s offering adds “trigger” buttons. It includes R1 and R2 as well as L1 and L2. There are also Turbo buttons.
The game controller fits tablets between 0.24 inches and 0.5 in. (6mm – 12mm). Suction cups hold the two components to the tablet. USB-C ports recharge the built in batteries.
The GameSir F7 Claw Tablet Game Controller is scheduled to debut May 24. It will cost $39.99.
