Terrified you’re going to lose your awesome new AirPods? Give yourself peace of mind with PodStraps, a $15 shoelace that hangs your AirPods around your neck and prevents them from bouncing around on the floor when they fall out of your ears.
PodStraps isn’t the first accessory that makes losing AirPods a little more difficult, and it won’t be the last. If you find your earpieces fall out frequently, it’s probably well worth its $15 price tag. It’s certainly cheaper than buying a replacement AirPod from Apple.
That’s if you don’t mind wearing a piece of string around your neck all day, and defeating the object of wireless headphones. After all, if you’re going to use an accessory like this, why not just use the wired EarPods that came free with your iPhone and save yourself $180?
But I’m not judging.
PodStraps doesn’t look completely terrible (so long as you wear your AirPods the right way around unlike the guy in the photo). It’s also designed to carry your AirPods charging case when you’re not using your earphones, and comes with a nice carrying pouch that you can fit everything into.
You can pre-order yours on Kickstarter now in charcoal or neon yellow.

Okay, but why IS he wearing his AirPods backwards? Inquiring minds want to know
I hope you were joking, having the cord go behind your neck connecting the two AirPods is vastly different from having the cord connected to your device. The sound quality for the AirPods is also much better than that of the normal EarPods. Well worth the $159 if you can find them in stock.
Being sarcastic or true :
Some people, like me have ears such that most earbuds MUST be worn upside down or for Airpods backwards (L & R swapped) to fit and hear sound properly. FWIW: My ear canals point towards the back of my head, whereas most of my friends point towards the front.
I cannot tell if this is the case with the guy in the photo…
I agree that this product looks dorky. ;-)
I’m getting something like this for my AirPods. I ride a Harley as my ‘daily driver’ and worry about dropping an AirPod on the highway at 80mph. Pop these on before I ride and pop them off when I arrive. No more worry.
No more worry? What if the Podstrap detaches from the Airpod? Do you glue them on?
GOOGLE is suggesting consumers to get started with “Work at home” practice, that I have already been doing for more than a year now. These days only, I generated approximately $36k so far with nothing but my personal pc and some spare time, however i have a full-time nine to five job. Even most people not used to this, actually make $50/per h undoubtedly and the gains might be even very high in the long run… This is how i started>>

Unless you want the open air design of AirPods/EarPods, which I would understand, why not just get any other Bluetooth earbuds with a cord between them. There are many available, they’re cheap, and usually sound better. Or there are bellboy or any of the generic versions of them on Amazon (which I think are the exact same thing.)
The ONLY reason I wanted AirPods was because there is no wire. I have 4 pairs of wired Bluetooth earbuds already (aka neckbuds.)
The strap defeats the purpose when you could otherwise get neckbuds for $30-$40.
Truly Wireless :P
