Apple is not quite done tinkering with OS X 10.11.4 before its public release.
The company seeded the seventh beta of OS X 10.11.4 to developers this morning, a little over a week after Apple released the last beta for the desktop operating system.
To grab the new beta, developers can go to the Apple Developer Center, or download it via the Software Update option if you have the previous El Capitan beta installed. Members of Apple’s public beta program came get the update by signing into Apple’s site.
Beta 7’s release notes don’t mention any major new additions, however other versions added new features like password protected entries in the Notes app, and Live Photos support in Messages. Today’s update contains mostly under the hood improvements and bug fixes.
Apple’s release notes for the update asks developers to focus on iBooks, Messages, Notes, Photos. There’s no hints of new features, but we’ll let you know what new stuff we find once we get the new El Capitan installed.

I honestly can’t remember a time when Apple went to a 7th revision for a dot update. Buying time until the 21st event possibly?
